Garage Door Roller off Track
In case of garage door roller off track, the whole door is out of its frame. It cannot operate as it cannot move in either upward or downward direction. Most often the top roller on one of the sides gets off the track.
How to Get the Roller Back On Track
In order for the problem to be resolved, the roller is guided back into the track after it has been prepared for its insertion. The repair is made only after the door has been opened and the opener has been disengaged. If the roller or its stem is broken or damaged, replacement is required first. The replacement roller must have the same size as the original one in order to fit inside the garage door track. At present, garage door owners can select from metal and nylon rollers which are designed for residential systems. It may also be necessary for the track to be adjusted properly with the tightening of the bolts which hold its parts.
